The Time Machine

Inspired by countless gauges and machinery I've photographed over the years in vintage stores, and images from a Russian photographer friend of mine, I put these elements together to create a Cold War-era time machine, cobbled together from Russian and American technology. It's powered by human emotion and nostalgia. Some of the elements feature lines of poetry written by a friend. Multiple panels, hand-cut collage on masonite. Overall size: roughly 4' x 6'.
