Presque Vu - Look

This is the third piece created in the Presque Vu series. I decided to use cameras and other optical devices in an attempt to actively “see” hidden worlds or parallel universes. The small areas of intense color in all three pieces create a sense of longing for more. Fully remembering a dream, or actually living in it.

Presque Vu (almost seen) is a new series of meticulously created collages made from hundreds of images found in old books and magazines. These images, arranged into dense, sculptural forms, touch upon the idea of parallel dimensions or hidden worlds where perception, space and time are upended.
