In The Moment 13

In The Moment 13

True story: in the 80's when I was in high school in south Louisiana, myself and friends accidentally sunk our boat in the dead of winter, in the Atchafalaya Basin. We were in the middle of nowhere, in freezing water. We ended removing the top of the Johnson outboard motor, using it as a bucket to bail the water from the submerged boat. I was bear hugging a tree, up to my chest in the frigid water. We made it out, all frozen solid. We then endured the longest boat ride back to the landing.

From a series of smaller collage works on book covers, all dull varnished. Each approx. 7x5" (small book covers).
