Ignorance is Bliss

Part of my Cereal Box Portal series. I spent a lot of time at the kitchen counter as a child, eating cereal, oatmeal and other self-prepared foods. This piece features a kid who represents me or anyone with dreams. The aggressive typography and mechanical elements reference American manhood. 15x20.75" collage and airbrush on cereal box, unframed.
