Hope Obscured

I find myself in a period of hard work and self-reflection as of late. I'm working to express my thoughts and feelings, as well as acknowledge the frustrations that I must feel completely, and only then try my best to overcome them. That idea of hope somewhere in the background is almost always there, though often, barely. Each piece 12x12x2" CMYK color printing strips and paper collage, acrylic, oil pastel, roughened with sandpaper and a Dremel tool, on masonite, unframed.
